OK ,Spring Maintenance GiG is in the Hat, Just need a weekend to Sponser such an event, My place-New Shop-How about we all get together and do this, do a barbeque set up, outside the shop, or sweet-chile and maplebars, we can do this ,,Last year I hired a Barista Gal to make Latta's, we could see about doing that again, Kim will you come up with the time and post it and then it will be official, some sat or sunday..Have the folks bring ther own oils-filters-brake fluids-antifreeze-tires-etc...Lets Put on a Pre Season check List to go over and each person would be resposable to learn their bike allitle better, and if we could get someone to talk safety, motorcycle related.....matthew

My big project has been building two aluminum tank panniers for the 1100gs. Just about done and I think it looks pretty cool. No more four fabric bags draped over the tank rubbing the paint away and jamming zippers, and now it's aerodynamic. Put on some bar risers/setbacks. That will make it more comfy. New rubber on both ends.
The r65gs needs fork gaiters and the oil cooler fan put on differently.
We're heading for Baja towards the end of Feb with the 1100. Getting excited.

I'd love to join in on a maintenance day. Had my 2000 R1100RT for a little over a year now and there is so much to learn! Let's make sure we pick a weekend without snow and ice so we can ride to your shop instead of trailering. I'll put an order in for that...
